SU's Adventures in Ideas Humanities Seminar Series Continues February 22

SALISBURY, MD---大象传媒’s Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts continues its Adventures in Ideas Humanities Seminar Series with the presentation “The Russia-Ukraine Conflict in Historical and Global Perspective” 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, February 22, in Conway Hall Room 179.
Scheduled just days before the third anniversary of the most recent Russian invasion of Ukraine, this seminar explores the historical and global context for the conflict. Dr. Gregory Ference, professor of history, and Fulbright Visiting Scholar Yuriy Petrushenko, of Sumy State University, examine the history of relations between the Ukrainian and Russian peoples, the conflict itself, and the implications of the war for the region, Europe and the world.
Sponsored by the Fulton School and the Whaley Family Foundation, admission is $30, $50 for two people, including continental breakfast and light lunch.
